Premium Block Joint is AAC Block Adhesive. With increasing use of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks in new age buildings and due to its highly absorbent nature, there emerges a need to use an adhesive which would hold these blocks in place.
It holds porous blocks together much more efficiently than the traditional fixing system does.
It is designed for use with water to produce high strength thixotropic mortar for laying blocks or smoothing over the block work surface in layers of up to 10 mm thickness.
The suitable substrates for this adhesive are : Concrete Blocks, Cement Mortar Blocks/Bricks, Concrete Hollow Blocks, Aerated Lightweight Blocks and Fly Ash Bricks
Applications :
Apply a coat around 3 mm of Premium Block Joint evenly. Place another block on the bed and adjust the line level with rubber hammer. (Practica lly thickness means the total gap between 2 surface to be joined. There should not be any gap left between two surfaces. )
- Ensure that the blocks are free sound and clean from any other loose material like oil etc.
- Wet the AAC blocks or the application area prior to application.
- Add Premium Block Joint to water and stir well to make it homogeneous and lump free, till we achieve creamy Mix.
- Ensure the correct alignment of Blocks. Keep removing the access material after fixing the blocks.
